The End of the War
As the war came to a close, propaganda producers decided to shift their work to focus on humiliation of the Germans, and to warn civilians of the dangers of trusting Germans after the war. This material was diverse in its goals and implementation, as it was no longer necessary to vilify the enemy. Some images warned against Germans at home in Britain who were a threat to national security and economic prosperity. Others urged the British people not to let up on their hatred for Germans because they still presented a future threat. And of course, there was propaganda simply making fun of the Germans and rubbing in their defeat.
